Baked Spuds

Crispy skin is what this is all about

Dead easy. You can buy “Baking Potatoes” now and they are fine – they are just big spuds. It’s just a marketing thing – you can use any spud. The fluffier the better – King Edward are ideal.

Directions

Pre-heat an over to about 210-220 degrees

Clean the skin if it needs it, dry it, and rub some Olive Oil on it. Then rub some salt in – this helps the skin go really crispy

Put it in the oven for an hour then push a skewer through to see if it’s cooked

If its not keep it in for 15 minutes and test again

That’s it.
